Costa Verde welcomed the finalists of Chefe do Ano 2024 competition, in a visit during which the various contestants had the opportunity to tour our facilities and thus become acquainted with the in situ process of creation, development, and production of the porcelain pieces of the brand, now present in over 50 locations worldwide, being the choice of the most demanding chefs. With an immersive visit to the world of porcelain, Costa Verde aimed with this open doors event to show how work is done in what will be the best porcelain factory in the world, thus allowing kitchen professionals to learn about the various processes involved, culminating with a visit to our showroom, where they had the opportunity to select the pieces that will serve as the basis for their presentations during the competition.

The visit culminated in an unusual lunch held in a warehouse of the art of “xávega” fishing on Praia da Vagueira, during which they had the opportunity to enjoy a meal prepared by chefs Tony Martins and Hugo Alves, winners of the competition in 2020 and 2021 respectively, and conceptually designed by the fishermen of this fishing art.

We thank everyone for their visit and the collaboration of Edições do Gosto, the organizer of the competition, and the opportunity to not only showcase our company but also to provide a gastronomic event where local and traditional cuisine was highlighted.
