Costa Verde once again took part in the Congress of Cuisine, strengthening its connection with one of Portugal’s leading events dedicated to gastronomy and professional foodservice.
On 27 and 28 September, the gardens of the Marquês de Pombal Palace in Oeiras once again became a meeting point for the national gastronomic community, hosting the 22nd edition of the Congress of Cuisine.
Following its participation in 2025, Costa Verde returned as a partner of this important event, which brings together chefs, foodservice professionals, producers, researchers, and other leading figures from the world of gastronomy.
This year, the Congress focused on “The Sea”, inviting reflection on how territories, resources and ecosystems influence what reaches the plate. Sustainability, the preservation of marine resources, innovation and the relationship between product and territory were among the key themes addressed.
Over two days, the Congress featured a diverse programme of masterclasses, demonstrations, tastings, debates, and knowledge-sharing sessions, bringing together dozens of professionals and experts.
Among the participating chefs were Portuguese and international names such as Aitor Arregi, Iñigo Lavado, Nuno Mendes, Vítor Matos, Rui Silvestre, Louise Bourrat, Gil Fernandes and Paulo Morais, among many others. The 2026 edition also featured Madeira as Guest Region and Morocco as Guest Country, further strengthening the national and international dimension of the event.
Costa Verde’s participation in this event reflects the brand’s close relationship with professionals who work every day to create gastronomic experiences where flavors, presentation and design come together.
For a Portuguese company specializing in porcelain for the professional foodservice sector, being present at the Congress of Cuisine also means keeping close to the evolution of gastronomy, listening to those working in the field, understanding new needs and identifying trends that can inspire the development of new products.
Following its presence in 2025, Costa Verde’s return to the Congress reinforces a relationship built on collaboration, innovation, and the recognition of gastronomy as a space for creativity and expression.
Because at Costa Verde, we believe that the gastronomic experience begins long before the first bite, and the table is part of that experience.
