Jorge Marinheiro and Artur Sarabando took part in an open lecture organized by the Department of Environment and Planning at the University of Aveiro, aimed at master’s and doctoral students. The session focused on the theme “The Strength of Sustainability: Environment and Energy.”
During the event, the main protocols, strategies, and initiatives developed by Costa Verde in the fields of sustainability, environment, and energy were presented, highlighting the measures implemented by the company and the results achieved over recent years. The presentation provided an opportunity to showcase the organization’s commitment to the continuous improvement of its environmental and energy performance, as well as the practices adopted to promote more sustainable industrial operations.
The session also served as an opportunity to present several of the company’s ongoing research and development projects, namely CiPoCer, PorCoating, LaserMarKer, and LaserCer, whose objectives are aligned with the challenges of sustainability and technological innovation.
Participation in this open lecture reinforced the importance of collaboration between academia and industry, promoting knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and the development of innovative solutions capable of addressing future environmental and energy challenges.
