The “Chefe Cozinheiro do Ano 2023”, the largest and most important cooking competition aimed at professionals, in Portugal, presents the 18 competitors who have been selected for the Regional Stages phase, after a registration phase with more than 100 candidates. It is with great pleasure that Costa Verde sponsors, for another consecutive year, this great national event.
In this 34th edition, the aspiring Chef of the Year 2023’s candidates will have to present a complete menu “defending and preserving the roots of traditional Portuguese cuisine, the products and raw materials of national origin”. The menu should be composed of a Cod Entry, Fish Dish, Pork Dish and Dessert. The 3 Regional Stages will take place on April 13th (Northern Stage – Porto School of Hospitality and Tourism), April 19th (Central Stage – Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism) and April 27th (South & Islands Stage – venue to be confirmed).
