Maria Leonor Marques successfully defended her Master’s dissertation in Chemical Engineering at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Aveiro, marking an important milestone in her academic journey. Her dissertation, entitled “Study of the Production Parameters of Polyurethane Moulds with and without Recycled Materials for Isostatic Pressing of Tableware,” was completed with distinction.
The research was carried out during her internship at Costa Verde as part of the CiPoCer project and made a valuable contribution to the development of more innovative and sustainable solutions for polyurethane moulds used in isostatic pressing. The work focused on the incorporation of recycled materials, reinforcing the principles of the circular economy and supporting more sustainable manufacturing practices.
This achievement also highlights the importance of the collaboration between the University of Aveiro and Costa Verde in fostering applied research, technological innovation, and sustainability within the ceramics industry.
Costa Verde warmly congratulates Leonor on this outstanding academic achievement and recognises the commitment, dedication, and professionalism she demonstrated throughout her time with our team. It has been a privilege to support her growth and to benefit from her valuable contribution to the CiPoCer project.
We sincerely thank Leonor for all her work and dedication at Costa Verde and wish her every success and happiness as she embarks on this new chapter of her personal and professional life. We are confident that her future will be filled with exciting opportunities and remarkable achievements.
