Costa Verde recently welcomed a group of students participating in the ISCA Summer Camp, an initiative integrated into the University of Aveiro Summer Academy. The visit provided students with the opportunity to experience firsthand the reality of one of Portugal’s leading porcelain manufacturers.
During their visit, the participants toured Costa Verde’s production facilities, gaining valuable insight into the porcelain manufacturing process, from raw materials to the finished product. They were introduced to the technology, craftsmanship and quality standards that define the company’s production.
The programme also included a visit to Costa Verde’s showroom, where students learned more about the company’s history, its evolution over the years, its strong international presence, and its vision for the future. The presentation highlighted Costa Verde’s strategic focus on innovation, sustainability, design and international growth.
Costa Verde believes that strengthening the relationship between academia and industry is essential for preparing future professionals, offering students practical insights into the challenges and opportunities of the manufacturing sector.
