Once again, Costa Verde joins the Chefe do ano competition – formerly known as Chefe Cozinheiro do Ano – the largest and oldest national cooking competition for professionals, celebrating its 35th edition in 2024. This competition distinguishes and values the talented of kitchen professionals. With a dignified historical background, this competition is the culmination of the best in our country, in the field of cuisine always with the valorization of Portuguese products in mind.
Costa Verde, as an important partner and supplier to the HoReCa market, has been associated with this competition for many years, which honors the best in cuisine and gastronomy in Portugal.
Costa Verde also belongs to the Chef of the Year Club, the Club of Participants in the Competition, which since its first edition in 1990, aims to give a new boost to the valorization of the cook profession and contribute to the dignification of Portuguese cuisine. All finalists, jury members, institutional partners, sponsors, and honorary members, national or international, belong to this club.
