Costa Verde was recently named as finalist in the People category during the 5 th edition of the Innovation in Prevention Award, promoted by Ageas Seguros. This recognition highlights the company’s commitment towards implementing innovative practices, which promote its employees’ safety, well- being and development.
This award aims to highlight companies which are implementing innovative strategies towards promoting safer, more sustainable and efficient work environments, with a positive impact on both the direct and indirect costs of organisations.
The Innovation in Prevention Award aims to distinguish organisations that stand out in the adoption of effective strategies around the areas of People, Heritage and Environment, thus contributing towards a more efficient and sustainable management. Costa Verde was acknowledged for its project within People category, which demonstrates the company’s commitment towards continuous improvement and the implementation of preventive measures enhancing safety, responsibility and organisational efficiency.
The initiative involves leading national entities such as ISQ – Welding and Quality Institute, CIP – Portuguese Business Confederation, IAPMEI –
Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, AHP – Portuguese Hotel Association, COTEC Portugal, Compete 2030, Order of Economists, CCIP – Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ANI – National Innovation Agency, and the A Cor do Dinheiro television programme.
This acknowledgement reinforces Costa Verde’s role within the national business outlook as an example of good practice, around the areas of prevention and innovation, while being in line with this award’s goals, which seek to promoting a safer, more resilient and sustainable business culture.
