Costa Verde and Additive Manufacturing Technologies and Circular Economy

Costa Verde received the visit of dozens of students from the areas of science and technology, within the scope of the project of Ceramics and Glass Technology Centre and the BEST Association – Board of European Students of Technology, which takes place at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Coimbra.

BEST – Board of European Students of Technology is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to promoting intercultural communication and exchange between European technology students. With 97 local BEST groups in 34 countries, it offers an organised network for students to connect and learn from each other, with the main goal of helping them to become global, by fostering a deeper understanding of different European cultures and providing opportunities for international collaboration. Through academic and non-academic events and services, such as the international career centre, it aims to broaden students’ horizons and provide valuable resources to guide them towards success, prioritising the provision of high-quality services to students across Europe, thus  helping to bring together the “student-company-university” triangle, while supporting students across their academic and professional activities.

During this visit the students had the opportunity to learn about Costa Verde’s production process as well as the latest technological developments developed and under
development.
