Costa Verde launched the LaserMarKer project with a meeting held at its facilities, joined by the University of Aveiro and the Ceramics and Glass Technology Center, partners in the consortium.

The initiative aims to introduce Laser technology into the porcelain sector, exploring new solutions that combine innovation and sustainability. The project foresees three areas of application: engraving codes on pieces to ensure traceability and enable the digital product passport; decorating logos and patterns without the use of inks or pigments; and customization in small series, through a fast and flexible production model.

With LaserMarKer, Costa Verde seeks to strengthen Portugal’s position at the forefront of the European ceramics industry, investing in more efficient, sustainable processes aligned with the demands of the future.
