Costa Verde had the pleasure of welcoming around 50 third-year undergraduate students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, in a visit that reinforces the connection between the industrial sector and the academic world.

The main objective of the visit was to provide students a direct contact with the porcelain production process, as part of a curricular project focused on developing a collection inspired by Southeast Asia gastronomy—a region known for its high aesthetic and cultural standards.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore, in detail, the various stages of production at Costa Verde’s manufacturing unit, from design and modelling to firing and quality control. The initiative also incentivized the sharing of knowledge about market trends, the importance of innovation in the sector, and the challenges of exporting to international markets.

This collaboration reflects Costa Verde’s continuing commitment to the training of new generations of creators and designers, reinforcing its focus on projects that promote innovation, internationalization, and the excellence of Portuguese design.
