Costa Verde has accepted the challenge of Portalegre’s School of Hospitality and Tourism and will be a partner in the “Improvável” initiative.
“Improvável” is an initiative to present and apply the work carried out by the school’s students in a training context, which will consist of 7 dinners for 7 people in 7 different locations in the city of Portalegre, many of them improbable!
The location will only be revealed 24 hours in advance and the menu only at the time.
With the support of Portalegre’s City Council and the Alentejo’s Regional Tourism Authority, this initiative seeks to go out of school and impact the community.
The Portalegre’s Hotel and Tourism School was founded on 12 December 2008 and is part of the Turismo de Portugal schools’ network. It is located on the site of the former Robinson Factory and classes take place in a modern and spacious building, set in the signature space of architect Eduardo de Souto Moura.
Located at Alentejo, with a consolidated tourist dynamic and a strong hotel sector, the school focuses on training in the areas of cooking and pastry, catering and beverages. It holds a diverse teaching staff made up of excellent professionals who prepare students for labour market demands.
Costa Verde is thankful for the invitation and will provide all the necessary porcelain items.
