Costa Verde took part in the seminar “Community Mental Health: Being on the Right Side of History”, at the invitation of the Vagos City Council, in partnership with the Alma Sã Association.
Represented by CVIS Integrated System Manager, Leonor Tavares, Costa Verde’s contribution focused on inclusive employment and the opening to new models of collaboration with Alma Sã, particularly through the artistic customization of porcelain pieces developed by members of the association.
The event, held on April 30, brought together professionals, service users and partner organizations to reflect on the challenges of deinstitutionalization, inclusion and the employability of people with lived experience of mental illness, highlighting the role of art as a means of expression and social integration.
This participation reflects Costa Verde’s social commitment and represents a first step in a broader area of the company’s social responsibility: Mental Health.
Costa Verde is grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to share its projects, social concerns, and to be part of this movement that strives to be on the right side of History.
