Costa Verde presents R&D projects at the Jornadas Técnicas da Cerâmica 2025

Costa Verde took part in the Technical Ceramic Conference, organized by CTCV, held at the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra on November 19, 20, and 21. The event brought together professionals, companies, and sector entities in a space dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, innovation, and technological development applied to the ceramic industry.

On November 20, the company was in the spotlight with the participation of Jorge Marinheiro, Costa Verde’s Technical Director, in the session “Innovation Ecosystems in the Ceramic Industry”, which brought together representatives from various national industries to present and discuss Research and Development (R&D) work and projects aligned with the sector’s current challenges.

Costa Verde contributed with a presentation dedicated to its main ongoing research projects — PorCoating, CiPoCer, LaserCer, and LaserMarKer — with particular emphasis on the latter two, due to the innovative nature of the laser technologies they incorporate.

The talk, titled “Laser Technologies for Ceramics”, covered the core objectives of each project and presented some preliminary results illustrated through videos and photographic records of laser technologies applied to porcelain pieces. The four research projects were also featured in the PosterTalks event through poster presentations, offering closer contact with the audience and bringing them nearer to the key details of each project.

Costa Verde’s presence at the Technical Ceramic Conference reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, technological development, and the ongoing modernization of the national ceramic industry.

Costa Verde thanks the organizers for the invitation and the opportunity to share knowledge.
