The ceremony took place at the <b>Leix\u00f5es Cruise Terminal<\/b>, in Matosinhos, bringing together industry professionals, chefs, hoteliers, and several brands connected to the restaurant sector.<\/p><p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"822\">A total of <b>39 restaurants<\/b> and <b>22 accommodation<\/b> units were distinguished with <b>Fork and Key classifications (Platinum, Gold, and Silver)<\/b>, through an evaluation process conducted by a specialized team that travels across the country throughout the year. This year\u2019s edition once again highlighted projects that combine quality, innovation, consistency, and territorial identity, reinforcing Portugal\u2019s position as a leading gastronomic destination.<\/p><p data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"1119\">The highlight of the evening was the election of <b>V\u00edtor Matos<\/b> as<b> Chef of the Year 2026<\/b>, consolidating his status as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Portuguese cuisine. In addition to this recognition, the chef also received a <b>Gold Fork<\/b> for the restaurant <b>Antiqvvm<\/b>, in Porto.<\/p><p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1278\">The Career Award was also presented to <b>Alexandre Marto Pereira<\/b>, recognizing a career marked by dedication and impact in the hospitality sector in Portugal.<\/p><p data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1534\">Among the restaurants distinguished with <b>Platinum Fork<\/b> were references such as <b>Belcanto<\/b>, <b>Casa de Ch\u00e1 da Boa Nova<\/b>, and <b>Ocean<\/b>, while leading hotel units received <strong>P<\/strong><b>latinum<\/b>, <b>Gold<\/b>, and <b>Silver Keys<\/b>, reflecting the diversity and quality of the national offer.<\/p><p data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1831\"><strong>C<\/strong><b>osta Verde<\/b> was present, reinforcing the connection between industry, restaurants, and hospitality.
